Will I notice the difference in engine performance immediately?

Yes. As the vehicle sets readiness (like when the battery is disconnected), it will adapt to the new calibration as the sensors go through their learning parameters.

Why would I make performance modifications to my vehicle?

Vehicles on the road today (with very few exceptions) have been conservatively de-tuned to mitigate the effects from careless drivers, irregular maintenance, and inferior fuel quality. The process of extracting the maximum potential from your vehicle is quite simple. Without physically altering your vehicle, we download a copy of the software file from your vehicle and then upload a modified file that will improves your car’s power output, torque delivery and fuel economy. Our performance modifications deliver improved drivability without affecting a vehicle’s reliability.

Will tuning affect my warranty?

The software changes we make are completely undetectable. Ultimately it’s your car and your decision; dealers should respect their clientele’s choices. If your dealer is against the upgrades and modifications, you may want to consider purchasing your vehicle from other dealer.

How long does performance tuning take?

The entire process of re-tuning your vehicle takes approximately 2 - 4 hours. In addition to the improved fuel economy, the rev-limiter is raised, speed limiter removed (if desired), increased power output, acceleration without flat spots or hesitation.

What happens if my dealer flashes my ECU back to stock?

We offer two (2) free re-flashes; on the third re-flash, we will charge you.

What if I wish to keep the speed limiter?

The Speed Limiter will be removed unless otherwise stated by the customer.

How does this affect the service and maintenance of my vehicle?

The service schedule and procedures are unaffected.

How is the software tested?

Properly, with corrections for accurate air pressure readings at speed.

What if I have other modifications done to my vehicle?

This is not an issue. If you decide to change an exhaust or intake, the ECU will adapt to these changes after a few driving cycles.

Would I receive help removing my ECU?

Yes. We can always assist you during business hours.

Do you outsource your work?

Absolutely not, we develop our own software; we don’t outsource our file development.

Do you create racing applications?

We have programs for all Octane Ratings 91, 93 and 94. Racing applications can be developed as a one off design. Our modern, state of the art equipment makes these conversions easy and effective as possible. If you are located in Orange County or within 20 miles of Los Angeles, we can even program your vehicle via OBD2 at your location for no extra charge (certain applications only).
